ClawComp was a month-long build program, not a weekend hackathon. We brought together an elite cohort of OpenClaw and Hermes innovators from universities across the world. Rather than pulling students away from what they were already building, ClawComp challenged them to integrate autonomous AI into that work and provide them the capability to push it further than they would on their own.
Every accepted team received a free Mac Studio funded by Link Ventures, theirs to keep no matter what place they finished. Teams built for a month remotely, submitting weekly video updates, then were flown to Boston (all expenses paid) for ClawWeek: four days of in-person building, pitching, and networking at Link Studios in Kendall Square. Founders, investors, and professors from Harvard, MIT, and Northeastern evaluated pitches on the final day, and $17,500 in prizes went to the teams whose automations delivered measurable outcomes and had promise at scale.
